As most of you know, we’ve leapt with both feet into the world of goat ownership. The most interaction I’ve ever had with a goat prior to this was petting them at the State Fair. But how hard can it be, right?
I’ve been reading like a mad person and discovering just how much I did not and do not know. I’m so thankful Gurda (mama goat) isn’t in milk. I’m no where near ready to be milking a goat. We’re still in the “warming up, getting to know you” phase, and the girls are pretty skittish, but we’re getting there.
Meanwhile, I’m reading everything about caring for goats.
It’s all here!
Thinking of joining the goat world or already have one or a couple of your own? Animals are an ever learning experience. Join me in my reading with these great articles that are Everything You Need to Know About Breeding, Birthing, Milking, and Caring for Goats. Thanks to all my wonderful friends over at the Homestead Bloggers Network for all their info.
